Finally... an update!!

Okay so it's pretty obvious I'm not great at keeping my blog updated. Yes we've had two holidays and coming up on a third that I have not blogged about. Well it's not too late for Christmas....
We took Cohen to see Santa and needless to say, he didn't love it!!

(Santa doesn't look too thrilled either.)

Other than Santa visits and shopping for Christmas, we've been busy living life.
Cohen is so close to crawling. I think another week and he'll have it down. He's 8 months old now and just so adorable! He babbles a lot and is learning new tricks everyday!
Mike is busy working and trying to get his new business off the ground.
And I started doing a bootcamp which I LOVE!!! It's Wasatch Adventure Bootcamp. (To find out more go to wasatchbootcamp.com.) I have so much fun doing it and for me that's big. I usually HATE working out!

We're doing pretty great and besides the occasional cold, we're happy and healthy. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

We love our kid!

Wow Cohen is growing up fast! He will be six months old in just a few days... and everyday just gets more and more adorable! He is so much fun to play with! And he is learning so fast. (now if only I could teach him to sleep through the night)

He is almost sitting up all by himself and he loves trying new foods. He also grabs anything he can and sticks it in his mouth.

And although he hates playing on his tummy, he loves to roll back and forth.

Mostly we just think he is the cutest kid ever and wanted to show you some cute pics of him!!

We're back!

So we have moved back to the big city!! Unfortunately Vernal didn't work out for us, but now we're back in our own house and close to our family... which we love!! Things have been a little busy since we got back, the unpacking and Mike finding a job, but we've managed to squeeze some fun in!

We went down to Salem Days and Cohen watched his first parade...

And we got to visit with family at Greg and Patsy's house. It was a very fun and relaxing day!

We went to Temple Square and had a picnic with our friends Jessica, Staci and Austin...

Another very fun and relaxing day! The weather was perfect!

And my mom, Cohen and I went and saw The Declaration of Independence on display at the Capitol. It was pretty cool to see.

Cohen has his 4 month check-up in a couple of days so I'm excited to see how much he weighs and how tall he is. I swear he gets bigger everyday!! I will put an all about Cohen update on our blog after the appointment. So until then!

More Fun With Our Family

On our trip to the Big City we went boating with the Behle family.

I even got to wakeboard. Man is that a workout! I think today is the first day since then that I'm not sore!!

Yes I know this picture is sideways, but I had to show you all how great Mandy looked for her big 80's bash! We had a big party for her 30th birthday.

Everyone dressed-up for the occasion...

And everyone looked great!!

Fun With Our Family

This last week we were able to spend some time with our family. And while it was a little busy, we had a lot of fun!!

Although this picture makes it look like Porter doesn't like Cohen, he really does... he just didn't like Cohen sitting on his blanket. Porter actually played with Cohen this trip and was interested in him, where before he just wasn't sure what to make of his new cousin. But soon, Cohen won't be the youngest grandchild on the McAfee family side... Congrats Jen and Andy!!

We had a fun day swimming with Jen and Porter and Grandma Black's house. Jen and I took turns sitting in the shade with Cohen and swimming with Porter. Porter kept saying he was swimming like a mermaid and kicking his legs like a caterpillar. He is so cute!

Cohen also met two cousins he hadn't before. Mykell and Luke came down from Idaho for the weekend. They are growing up so fast! Mykell was such a big help with Cohen!

Keri, Jordan, McKinlee and Hunter also came up for the weekend. It was so fun to have the whole family there at once! It was the first time all the grand kids were in one place!

And congratulations to Jena for passing your test and officially becoming a nurse!! We are so proud of you!

Camping Adventure

So a couple of weekends ago, we went camping at Flaming Gorge with Nana and Papa and had a ton of fun! Good thing for us they had a tent trailer so it made things way easier with Cohen.

He loves to be outside, but it was pretty windy when we got there so he hung-out in the trailer.

And when he was outside we were in the shade. Unfortunately babies can't wear sunscreen until they are six months old so we have to be careful not to let him get sunburned.

We only stayed one night, but Saturday we went to the lake. We were only there for a couple of hours because Cohen got pretty restless and hot, but it was still fun. Mike got some fishing in and for the first time this summer I actually got some sun.

Overall I'd call Cohen's first camping trip a success!!

Happy Father's Day!!

For Mike's first Father's Day we made it into a Father's Day weekend. Saturday we went to the lake so Mike could do some fishing. No luck on catching a fish, but we did have some fun!

Cohen and I sat in the shade and relaxed...

Cohen really relaxed!!

On Father's Day we went to church and then we all watched the U.S Open. And believe it or not, I actually enjoyed watching golf!! So overall I'd call it a success!
I hope you all had an equally enjoyable weekend!

The Two Month Update

Okay so I know I have been a little bit of a slacker in the blogging department... The last two months have been super busy!

Cohen Jason Behle was born April 12, 2008 at 11:15 pm. He weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 19 inches long. He had to go to the NICU for five days because he needed antiobiotics for an infection. We took him home from the hospital on the 17th. And ever since things have gone smoothly. Well besides the common newborn stuff eveyone has to learn about. We absolutely adore him! We just took him to his two month check-up last Friday. He now weighs 9lbs 10oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. He is getting big so fast! He has started smiling and making cute baby noises and he makes us laugh everyday! (I know, how funny can a two month old be right? )

We also moved to Vernal, yes that's right, Vernal. Mike got a new job at Dinaland Golf Course. We won't live there forever, but we really like it for now!! We will be moving into our new townhome hopefully next month.

We're all happy and healthy, and things are going well for us! We got new email addresses:

I know there aren't a lot of pictures on this post, but that's because we have too many I want to show you so Mandy is making a slide show for us to post. That will come later. Soon, but later.

March 21, 2008

Well, I'm about to pull this kid out myself if he doesn't show up on his own soon... But one thing I'm not getting sick of is babyshowers!!! Here's some pics from the latest... more to come soon.

My friend Jamie and I in all of our pregnant glory!

Everyone needs a hooded towel!!

My First Baby Shower

My mom and I went to Jen & Andy's last weekend (really just to visit Porter). While we were there, I had my first (surprise) baby shower.

First on the agenda: onsie decorating.

Afterwards, we opened present (of course, what would a baby shower be without presents?)

(I really just put this picture on so you could all see me in all my pregnant glory)

And to top it all off, a diaper cake. Looks like we have enough diapers now to last us at least the first week of little Baby-Behle's life. Oh the fun we have in store...

Ok, this is hopefully the first of many Behle Family blog posts. They'll be much more exciting once little Junior gets here, but for now, you've got a few more baby showers and some serious painting and room decor in store.

Eight and a half weeks to go!!!
