ALOHA!!!

Okay so I know this picture is sideways but it's still pretty right? So last week Mike and I went to Maui! It was such a blast!!

This is my leg after getting stung by a jellyfish while snorkeling at Molokini Island. It was kind of my fault though... What do you expect when you see the jellyfish and then when you turn around to go the other way accidentally kick it? I'd sting me too!

And this is the beautiful Molokini Island. You can't tell in this pic, but the water was the clearest, most amazing shade of blue I have ever seen!!

(I apparently need to learn how to rotate pictures huh?) Okay so the house in the background with the red roof is actually Tiger Woods' house. And anyone who knows Mike knows that he is obsessed with Tiger Woods, so you can understand that Mike was like a kid on Christmas morning when we found out where it was and went and saw it....

Up close!! And yes we drove by the house at least four or fives times while we were there.

So I decided to face my biggest fear and believe it or not... I WENT SCUBA DIVING!!! It was pretty cool I must say. We swam next to a huge sea turtle and I even held a sea cucumber!!

It was an absolute blast and my favorite vacation that I have ever been on! Aloha!!

surgery

Cohen had surgery a couple of weeks ago... It was so sad! But lucky for me, I have a super hero for a son! He was so good. Before the surgery when he couldn't eat of drink he didn't cry once! And even after the surgery he just hung-out on the couch in a pretty good mood.

He was so so good and it made it so much easier for me... But who am I kidding, I still cried like a baby when they took him back.

So Cohen on pain meds was pretty funny. He just walked around yelling and then falling over... If only I knew what he was saying!!!

mmmm...Dirt!!

Okay for some reason, Cohen LOVES to eat dirt!! Even though he knows it tastes bad, he never hesitates to shove more into his mouth!!



Porter didn't quite understand the appeal...




But how can I get mad when he's just sooo cute!!

Summer Fun!

A couple of weeks ago we went down to Fish Lake. It was cold most of the time, but it was a lot of fun! We ate a ton, Mike had fun fishing, and Cohen loved spending time with some of his cousins!

The last day we were there, we rented a pontoon boat and took it out on the lake... It was super windy and cold, but we had a few laughs. One of them being that the boat got stuck on some rocks and Mike and Jordan had to get in the freezing lake and push us out.

Mike loves fishing lately and caught 6 fish!!

This summer we also have a season pass to Seven Peaks water park. We've only been once so far, but we plan on spending a lot of time there.

Cohen loves to be outside!

And He's Off!!

Cohen is walking!! He took his first couple of steps a while ago, but wouldn't really take off. Now he's walking all over the place! I'm so proud of him and can't believe he'll be one in just two short weeks!

Coming Soon

Okay so in the last couple of blog posts I did, I mentioned Mike starting a business... Well it's actually happening faster then we were expecting. So hopefully in just 4-5 weeks he will be opening a year around indoor golfing facility called All Seasons Golf llc. He will be running men's and women's leagues, giving lessons and also will be open to public play. We're really excited about it and I've never been more proud of him!! We'll let you know when the Grand Opening will be and you should all come check it out! So for now, it's something to look forward to.

In the last month...

Things have been busy this past month!! Cohen's first Christmas was fun! (yes I'm so behind I'm just now telling you about Christmas) He was more interested in the wrapping paper than his new toys, but it was fun all the same. Then on New Year's Eve, Cohen started crawling!! Okay so it was more of an army crawl, flat on his tummy, pulling himself along with his arms... But still, we were proud of him! And now, he stands on his own and has even taken a few shaky first steps!! If you can't tell from the gushing, I'm a proud mommy...



Cohen also has a new baby cousin!! We went down to Cedar City a couple of weeks ago to see Jen and her family. Baby Nora is so cute!!



And one almost warm day we went to the park with Porter. It was a fun trip!!



I can't believe how fast Cohen is growing up! He'll be one in just over two months! I swear he was just born a month ago! I love being Cohen's mom!!
